Cherelle Johnson SHRM-PC
Founder & CEO
Cherelle Johnson, affectionately called "Lady J." is an Executive Coach, Pastor, and HR Strategist with a passion for education and leadership. She is the founder of IronDresses Inc., a non-profit enterprise dedicated to the empowerment and leadership development of women. As an author, her books serve as educational resources to promote and inspire faith and efficacy for leading ladies across the globe. Cherelle is a double alumna of James Madison University. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Education degree and is a current Ph.D candidate at Regent University in Organizational Leadership. With her present-day work as a College Instructor and Executive Coach, Cherelle supports her husband in leading Divine Unity Community Church (DUCC) where he is the Lead Pastor and Founder. DUCC is a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational church with one foot on college campus and one foot in the surrounding communities. Cherelle provides HR oversight and serves as the Executive Pastor of Ministries at DUCC. She also leads the church's Leadership Institute (DULI); as it is her passion to equip & encourage high-capacity leaders. Cherelle is a forever-learner and champion of the motto “Leadership is not a level, it’s a lifestyle”

Christopher M. Johnson, Sr., founder and lead pastor of Divine Unity Community Church (DUCC), was born and raised in Ivor, Virginia. He obtained a Bachelor of Science at Bridgewater College where he started a campus ministry. It was during this time his heart began
to expand; thus, realizing God’s calling over his life to preach the gospel and to bring dry bones back to life. With the help of family and friends, Pastor Chris answered the call and established DUCC in February of 2012.
Dr. Chris values education and development, and pushes himself and others to achieve their goals. Chris earned a Master of Divinity from Eastern Mennonite Seminary as well as a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. With his strong apostolic gifting,
he thrives in atmospheres where he can develop new leaders and encourage new ministries to reach their full-potential and yield fruit. He often encourages others to "be the work, before you
do the work” - demonstrating the importance of cultivating one’s character, authenticity, substance and humility.
Dr. Chris is a dynamic communicator, servant-leader, and visionary. He carries the unique mantle of leading a multi-ethnic, multicultural, and multi-generational ministry; and holds a great passion to see revived lives actively glorifying God. His strong preaching style and effective way of communicating scripture has afforded him the opportunity to speak to many domestically and internationally. Communicating God’s heart through rich teaching, humor, and real-life examples, Chris radically transforms the minds and souls of others. Hand in hand with his wife, Cherelle and along with their three children, they serve their church, community, and God faithfully.
